Other Projects

Andrew Glenn and Stanley Tilmouth work on the Nolans Bore laundry.

We work with a growing number of traditional owners who are negotiating exploration, mining and other land use agreements and want to use the resulting income to develop their communities. Since 2012, more than 20 traditional owner groups began a number of smaller projects with our support:

We support these groups to establish suitable project governance and to plan and allocate their income to initiatives they prioritise. Often they are learning from our completed community development projects how to do this Many build or upgrade much-needed facilities at their outstations. For example, Urlampe and Urremerne residents have funded projects that helped traditional owners to build a home on country for their families.
